The Pedroc Pro Mid PTX is designed to meet these requirements, with a mid-cut shoe that performs well in a variety of settings, from mixed terrain to more urban environments. The ripstop mesh upper and TPU rand provide protection against abrasion, while the integrated Ankle Protection System and SALEWA 3F system enhance support and stability, particularly on uneven surfaces.
For waterproof protection and improved breathability, the shoe is equipped with a Powertex membrane. Underfoot, the Pomoca Speed Hiker Pro outsole offers excellent traction on mud, grass, and rock, thanks to the lug geometry and S-Path technology, which promotes natural rolling.
The cushioned EVA midsole delivers optimal rebound and everyday comfort. Several key features contribute to the shoe's performance:
The SALEWA 3F System connects the instep area of the shoe with the sole and heel, ensuring flexibility, support, and a proper fit. The Ankle Protection System, a thermoformed high rebound material heel cuff, provides extra lateral support, particularly during downhill activities.
The Kevlar Cable Upper Net adds motion stability and an extra layer of durability, while the included spare set of laces in a secondary colorway allows for personalization.
